Work Hard

Play Hard

Pray Hard

This summer all are warmly invited to join us for a wide variety of events connecting with all areas of parish life.

This summer we will work hard.  Our Summer Read is David Grann’s book Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI.  It is our hope that this book will help expand our knowledge as we seek to understand experiences other than our own and build relationships across lines of difference.

This summer we will play hard.  We will be showing the summer classic The Sandlot.  Of course there will be popcorn, hotdogs, and s’mores . . . wait, how can I have some more if I haven’t had anything yet?

This summer we will pray hard.  You’ve heard of Mass on the Grass, but what about Evening Prayer in the Open Air.  We will begin our time with a service of Evening Prayer led by parishioners, followed by a cookout, lawn games, and the kick off of our school supply drive for Dorcas International and Foster Forward.

As is always true at St. Thomas all are welcome.
