WINGS

St. Thomas’ WINGS group (Women In Need of Growing Spiritually) provides the opportunity for ALL women of the parish to gather in meaningful activity as we get to know and support one another along our life paths.

Meeting on the third Monday of each month, usually from 6 to 8 pm, each gathering has an agenda which may include learning a craft (making prayer beads, dying Ukrainian Easter eggs), cooking, discussing a book, planning outreach, or even playing games. 

Special activities (trips to a labyrinth, a Russian Icon museum) and periodic retreats are other features which take the women “outside the walls” of St. Thomas’. By working and playing together, we share of ourselves and form bonds of friendship that reach far beyond the ordinary.
